This is a 1 meter (39.37 inch) long stereoscopic rangefinder or EntfernungsMesser (EM) made bij FWQ which is the wartime code for Saalfelder Apparatebau GmbH, Saalfeld

These portable rangefinders were mostly used by light antiaircraft units manning 20mm and 37mm guns, but it was also used for artillery purposes.

All markings are present (see pictures) and the item is date 1942.
